Beschreibung

You want to know how international research collaborations work? Then this event is just right for you!

Together with the physics student organization from Taiwan - the Taiwan Physics Students Association (TPSA) - we want to give you an insight into an international research partnership between Germany and Taiwan.

We want to introduce you to the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan and their collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids (MPI CPfS) in Dresden, Germany. To this aim we have invited speakers from NSRRC as well as from the MPI CPfS that will give an overview about their work. In addition, there will be an introduction to the TPS Student Chapter as well as jDPG and time to network with students from Dresden and Hsinchu.

Confirmed speakers so far are:

Dr. Nuan-Ya Huang from NSRRC, Taiwan

Prof. Dr. Liu Hao Tjeng from MPI CPfS, Germany
