Science festivals and shows

For all people who enjoy physics, the DPG, together with the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), offers a major annual science festival for young and old. The venues change every year and are distributed throughout Germany. The Einstein Slam also takes place twice a year as part of the physics highlights and as part of a DPG spring conference. Under the motto "Physics in 10 minutes", speakers are supposed to inspire the audience. Participation in the events is of course free of charge.
