    Proposals could be submited to the Chair of the Division of Magnetism until 15 October 2018.

  • Submission of proposals for the PhD Symposium of the Division of Magnetism is now open

    Since 2012, PhD students can organize their own Focus Session at the DPG Spring Meeting (more information on this can be found here).
    Proposals can be submited until 15 September 2018 following this link.
     
  • The selection of Interdivisional Symposia and Plenary Speakers for 2019 is complete

    Our disvision was quite successful! We will organize two Interdivisional Symposia and one Plenary Evening Lecture

1. Symposium: "Identifying optimal physical implementations for beyond von Neumann computing concepts", organized by S. Blügel (Jülich) and M. Kläui (Mainz)

2. Symposium: "Geometry, topology, and condensed matter", organized by D. Makarov (Dresden) and C. Ortix (Utrecht)

3. Plenary Evening Speaker: Laura Greene, Florida State University (former head of the American Physical Society), about "The dark energy of quantum materials"

 

  • Submission of proposals for Interdivisional Symposia and Plenary Speakers is now open

    Proposals can be submited to the Chair of the Division of Magnetism until 28 May 2018.
