List of opportunities for the members to participate in the activities of the division.

The following, not conclusive, list gives an overview how to participate in the activities of the division "Functional materials". In case of of questions and suggestions please contact the executive board of the division.

  • Partizipation with a presentation or poster  within the FM sessions at the annual DPG Spring meetings. The division awards a poster prize that is presented within the members assembly of the division.
  • Organisation of sessions on topics specific to the FM division as part of the annual DPG Spring meeting, i.e.
    • "Focus-Session" - Lecture series within the program of the division
    • "Symposuim" - Lecture series to a broader audience across several divisions
    • "Plenary Talk" - Comprehensive presentation of a leading scientist on this research topic intended for a broad audience
  • Proposal of PhD theses for the dissertation prize of the DPG condensed matter section
