About us

The Tübingen Regional Group of the Young German Physical Society (jDPG) was founded in June 2026 and serves as the local representative of the jDPG in Tübingen.

Our team currently consists of dedicated undergraduate and master’s students who organise events for the local physics community. Our goal is to connect people with an interest in physics and to promote the exchange of ideas about studying physics, research, and current developments in the field.

To achieve this, we regularly organise talks, excursions, social meetups, and other events. Beyond sharing scientific knowledge, we aim to create an open and welcoming community where people can meet, network, and exchange experiences.

We are always happy to welcome new members and anyone who is enthusiastic about physics—whether you are still in school, studying at university, or pursuing a PhD.
