How did you get involved with the young DPG (jDPG)?
I received the Abitur Prize in 2022 and looked into where I could get involved. Then I took part in the summer excursion in Heidelberg and was immediately hooked. It was also one of my favorite jDPG events.
Why did you decide to study physics?
I always really enjoyed math at school, especially the math olympiads. But studying only math would have felt too theoretical for me. I then did my student internship at DESY and thought the way people worked there—and the people in general—were really cool. That’s when I basically decided that I wanted to go in that direction, and I haven’t regretted the decision since.
What are three reasons for you to get involved in the jDPG?
