How did you get involved with the jDPG?
I got involved with the jDPG through the High School Graduation Award. Since there was no regional group in Duisburg at the beginning, it took me half a year after receiving the award to attend my first jDPG event: the networking meeting in Hamburg.
After participating in my second networking meeting in Mainz, it was finally time to establish a regional group in Duisburg and gain my first experiences in event planning.
What is your favorite equation?
My favorite equation is the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation because it describes the dynamics of magnetization in a ferromagnetic material and connects classical mechanics with quantum phenomena. Additionally, I worked extensively with this equation during my bachelor's thesis and now in my master's studies.
What do you do besides physics?
In my free time, I play ice hockey and go to the gym. On weekends, I often meet up with friends and play computer games.
