Mentoring Programme

The DPG Mentoring Programme connects young people with experienced mentors from industry and business. It is aimed at students approaching graduation, those planning their career entry, and those who have recently started their first steps in industry.

Anyone wondering what opportunities are available after graduation, how to successfully enter the workforce, or which practical experiences really matter will find valuable guidance, personal insights, and a strong professional network through the programme.

Applications for the current cohort are already open and will remain open until June 28.

Further information and the application form can be found here:

Migration from Rocket-Chat to Matrix

The jDPG switched from Rocket.Chat to Matrix on June 1!

All chat messages since January 1, 2024 (as in the test instance) have been migrated. The old address chat.jdpg.de now redirects directly to element.jdpg.de.

Here is a summary of the most important information:

  • A migration guide is available with the latest information on how to continue using your existing Rocket.Chat account on the new platform.
  • Reset your password at https://sso.jdpg.de as described in the guide. This step is not necessary if you have already used the test instance.
Connecting to Matrix:

Browser:
The new Matrix instance is available at https://element.jdpg.de and later in the evening also via https://chat.jdpg.de.

App:
Install Element Classic and enter element.jdpg.de or chat.jdpg.de as the server address.
