Excellent Experiments (EGEx2)

The EGEx² Expert Group coordinates activities for quality assurance and the further development of physics experiments in practical courses, lectures, and teaching-learning laboratories.

EGEx² develops criteria for good experiments, supports peer-review processes, and makes proven experimental concepts more readily transferable through structured documentation.
The focus is on experiments that are scientifically robust, pedagogically meaningful, safe to conduct, and adaptable to different target groups. In this way, EGEx² strengthens the experimental quality of laboratory teaching and establishes a foundation for sustainable, cross-institutional improvements.
