Description

Quantum Chromodynamics is a quantum field theory that describes strong interactions between quarks and gluons. This theory is known to exhibit a rather complex phenomenology at very different length scales and gives rise to a rich spectrum of bound states and resonances known as hadrons. I review some of the current frontiers in hadron physics and discuss selected theoretical approaches to Quantum Chromodynamics.
