Call for nominations of candidates
With its awards, the DPG honours outstanding scientific achievements in the field of physics in a special way. By proposing and selecting award winners, we document respect and admiration for their work and at the same time contribute to publicising special achievements in physics.
Let us therefore jointly cultivate the award culture in Germany by collecting as many good proposals as possible.
The procedure is simple: a justification of one or two pages with a short summary of a few sentences is required for the award proposal. The proposal should be accompanied by a curriculum vitae (publication list, if applicable) as well as by suggestions for reviewers. If a good proposal is not used, it can be submitted again - as is even the case with Nobel Prizes.
