Leading for Tomorrow

"Leading for Tomorrow" is a programme for the training of (future) managers. Physicists are in demand in countless sectors and professions. They are also frequently employed in leadership and management positions due to their high problem-solving competence, but the study of physics prepares little for personnel management and leadership. Leading for Tomorrow" aims to close this gap. The management of large research infrastructures such as CERN, ITER, DESY, etc., but also of larger units in universities (e.g. excellence clusters, SFBs, etc.) and research institutes, requires knowledge that is also required in management positions in industry. Therefore, the programme is to cover two target groups: Future science managers and executives in industry and business.
