DOPPLERS 2026 in Osnabrück

📆 When? March 27 – March 29

📍 Where? Osnabrück University (Westerberg Campus)
Barbarastraße 7, 49076 Osnabrück

Registration for the DOPPLERS competition 2026 is still open until February 10!

The German Olympiad in Physics Problem Solving for Eager Puzzle-Solving Students will take place in Osnabrück this year. In teams of 3–4 students, participants tackle challenging problems from various areas of physics. There will also be an exciting social program to get to know each other and the city of Osnabrück.

Participation in the competition is free, and accommodation is provided. The winning teams qualify for the international competition PLANCKS2026.

Anniversary Year – jDPG turns 20 🎉

This year, jDPG celebrates its 20th anniversary, and we want to celebrate it together. We are planning several events and activities and will organize the members’ weekend.

Do you have ideas for how the anniversary year could be shaped? Then feel free to join the next planning meeting!

For further ideas and planning, we will meet on February 22, 2026 at 7 pm in Zoom Room 1. If you are interested or just want to take a look, you are very welcome to join! You can also browse the ideas collected so far here:

Planning GO/WO Amendment Proposals
