Beschreibung

483. Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Seminar
Extrasolar Planets: Towards Comparative Planetology beyond the Solar System
June 5 – 8, 2011, Physikzentrum Bad Honnef

In this seminar the major lines of research in extrasolar planets are addressed.
Topics addressed:
Exoplanet Detection and planet parameter
Planet Formation
Gravitational Interaction and Dynamical evolution
Planet structure and atmospheres
Habitability
The seminar will provide a forum for lively discussions between researchers (phd-students, postdocs, and senior researchers) working on extrasolar planets with colleagues working on solar system objects. The program includes invited review talks and contributed poster presentations.
