Beschreibung

This workshop will bring together experimentalists and theorists from two fields: Mesoscopic Physics and Quantum Optics.
The goal is to discuss the fascinating exchange and convergence of ideas, methods, and concepts to fabricate, tailor, and control collective quantum systems. Special focus will be on

Macroscopic quantum phenomena
Superconducting quantum bits
Manipulation of ultra-cold gases
Hybrid systems
Read-out and quantum limited measurements
