The fascinating physics of reactive collisions and fragmentation, and particularly the investigation of control mechanisms of such quantum dynamical processes will be in the focus of the 329th Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Seminar “Manipulation of Few-Body Quantum Dynamics”.
Speakers from leading groups in the field will be assembled in order to give an in-depth overview of current experimental and theoretical research activities.

Hot topics will include:

Coherent control
Controlled reactions and fragmentation
Charge transfer
Laser-assisted collisions
Laser manipulation
Reactive scattering
Atoms and molecules in strong fields
Cluster dynamics

It is the aim of the meeting to foster seminal discussions and collaborations between experimentalists and theorists working in this rapidly developing field.
To this end the programme will also include a round-table discussion on the prospects of quantum control and a poster session.
In particular, young researchers (PhD-students and postdocs) are encouraged to present their works and to discuss their ideas and research goals in the inspiring atmosphere of the Physikzentrum in Bad Honnef, located near Bonn and Cologne on the beautiful Rhine river.
