Beschreibung
Jedes Jahr veranstaltet die DPG Frühjahrstagungen an wechselnden Orten und Universitäten in Deutschland. Mit jährlich rund 10.000 Teilnehmer:innen aus dem In- und Ausland gehören die DPG-Frühjahrstagungen regelmäßig zu den größten Physikkongressen Europas.
Kernanliegen der DPG sind dabei der Wissenstransfer und die Nachwuchsförderung. Die DPG-Frühjahrstagungen sind deshalb auch eine wichtige Plattform für Student:innen, auf der sie erstmals ihre Master- oder Diplomarbeitsthemen vortragen und mit Wissenschaftler:innen diskutieren können. Die umfassende Aufnahme von Vorträgen des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in das Tagungsprogramm ist ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal der DPG-Frühjahrstagungen auch im internationalen Maßstab.
Gleichzeitig sind die Tagungen für alle Teilnehmer:innen auch von großer Bedeutung, um neue Kontakte zu knüpfen und bestehende Verbindungen zu pflegen.

Every year, the DPG organises its DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (DPG Spring Meetings) at various locations and universities in Germany. With around 10,000 physicists annually from Germany and abroad, the DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (DPG Spring Meetings) rank among the largest physics congresses in Europe.
The core concerns of the DPG are knowledge transfer and the promotion of young talent. The DPG Spring Meetings are therefore also an important platform for students, where they can present their master's or diploma thesis topics for the first time and discuss them with scientists. The comprehensive inclusion of presentations by young scientists in the conference programme is a unique feature of the DPG Spring Meetings, even on an international scale.
At the same time, these conferences are extremely important for establishing and maintaining contact with other scientists.
