DPG-Frühjahrstagung der Sektion Materie und Kosmos
Der Verlauf der Corona-Pandemie wirkt sich weiterhin auf die Organisation der DPG-Frühjahrstagungen aus: Präsenztagungen sind derzeit nicht verlässlich planbar und die Durchführung auf Basis der aktuell gültigen Corona-Bestimmungen wäre nicht oder nur sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Eine Rückkehr zum gewohnten Tagungsformat im Frühjahr 2022 ist vor diesem Hintergrund noch immer nicht denkbar. In Abstimmung mit den DPG-Gremien, allen beteiligten DPG-Vereinigungen sowie der örtlichen Tagungsleitung wurde entschieden, die DPG-Frühjahrstagung 2022 in Heidelberg nicht als Präsenztagung, sondern als eine Online-Tagung durchzuführen.

Description
Jedes Jahr veranstaltet die DPG Frühjahrstagungen an wechselnden Orten und Universitäten in Deutschland. Mit jährlich über 10.000 Teilnehmenden aus dem In- und Ausland gehören die DPG-Frühjahrstagungen regelmäßig zu den größten Physikkongressen Europas.
Kernanliegen der DPG sind dabei der Wissenstransfer und die Nachwuchsförderung. Die DPG-Frühjahrstagungen sind deshalb auch eine wichtige Plattform für Studierende, auf der sie erstmals ihre Master- oder Diplomarbeitsthemen vortragen und mit Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern diskutieren können. Die umfassende Aufnahme von Vorträgen des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in das Tagungsprogramm ist ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal der DPG-Tagungen auch im internationalen Maßstab.

Every year, the DPG organizes its DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (Spring Meetings) at various locations and universities in Germany. With more than 10.000 physicists annually from Germany and abroad, the DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (Spring Meetings) rank among the largest physics congresses in Europe.
Core objectives of the DPG are the sharing of knowledge and the promotion of young talents; therefore, the DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (Spring Meetings) are an important platform upon which students can present their first master or diploma thesis topics and discuss them with scientists. The comprehensive acceptance of presentations given by young scientists in the conference program is also a unique feature of the DPG-Frühjahrstagungen (Spring Meetings) at the international level. At the same time, these meetings are of great importance for getting in touch with other scientists.
