To stimulate more interest of junior scientists to present their work during the annual meeting of Φ·SOE within the scope of the annual spring meeting of the German Physical Society (DPG), the Φ·SOE annually awards the yearly Young-Scientist Award for Socio- and Econophysics (5.000 EUR)

The winner will be awarded during the spring meeting of the German Physical Society (DPG).

The DPG Physics of Socio-Economic Systems Division (Φ·SOE) aims to enhance and to support the research activities in the field of physics of socio-economic systems.

Young-Scientist Award for Socio- and Econophysics (5.000 EUR)

The Young Scientist Award (YSA) seeks to promote the work of young researches and honors exceptional original contributions that use methods from physics to gain a better understanding of socio-economic problems. The prize is currently supported by d-fine and is intended for young scientists not older than 40 years. Information on previous winners can be found on the left.
